Saturday 9/27...

Saturday was our last race of the season and Mike had lots of support in the stands! UMC sponsored the race, the UMC kids gave the signal to the racers to start their engines and Jerry Bush, UMC President, waved the green flag to start the race. Mike qualified 7th fast and with the invert started the race on the outside of the first row. He took the lead right off the bat and lead for 14 laps of the 75 lap main. He ran in 2nd for quite a while, but his car started to fall off and he ended up 5th.

Mike finished the season in 5th for points - only 3 points behind 4th. It was definitely a fun year, but also lots of work! Definitely had its ups and downs - the first half better than the second.

Saturday 9/20...

Big Track Championship Night was canceled because of the weather. It was however rescheduled for Saturday 9/27...should be a good race! Weather is looking better. Heres to hoping it stays that way!

Saturday 9/13...

We got a 9th place finish this week. Started out REALLY fast, but something broke (not sure what exactly yet) and Mike had to just hang on to finish the race, it was a 125 lapper. Hoping for better next week!
