Memorial Day Weekend at Sunland...

We had a great time on our weekend off from racing with Luke, Jess, Mia and Nolan in Sunland. We always love it there and its usually sunny! We had great weather sunny and hot...of course its always hard to leave.

Saturday 5/17...

It was a hot one!
Ever-consistent, Mike took 1st in his heat race and 3rd in the main. Thats 4 top threes in a row! We are still going for that first win...theres going to be a party when we get it and you're all invited! Check out the new sponsor...



Oh yeah...and the track randomly chose Mike's motor to pull and tech this week so we had a pizza party at the track after the race and pulled the motor out. Got the motor back Wednesday...everything checked out.

Saturday 5/10...

It was another exciting day at Evergreen Speedway! We were sprinkled on a few times throughout the day, but luckily it never poured on us and Mike was able to race. He took 1st (thats right - 1st place) in his heat race!!!! It was SO exciting. The main started off rough and I have never been so nervous watching a race, but it ended with Mike getting 3rd! He has had an excellent season so far - just needs to keep it up!

Saturday 5/3...

It rained and rained on Saturday....but we finally took the cars into the track at 6 PM. We weren't sure if we were going to race at all because the track was wet and the sky was dark. Mike went out for the first heat race and took 2nd and then it was time for the main event. He started on the inside of the third row (5th) and ended up getting another 2nd place finish. It was quite a night!
