Sawyer is 9 Months Old!

Our little man is 9 months old! Learning new things and keeping us busy! He had his 9 month check yesterday and weighs 18 lbs. 2 ozs. is 28 inches tall and dr. said he is just perfect. I already knew that though. We have survived our first ear infection and ears were all clear yesterday. Sawyer is crawling all over now, which means we need to do some baby-proofing. Napping like a champ and just being a happy little guy most of the time. Oh yeah...he's a thumb sucker too!

Baby Boy...8 Months Old

This is a very late post, Sawyer is now almost nine months old and keeping us busy. Its so amazing all the new stuff he learns everyday. He is such a sweet and happy boy, can't believe just how lucky we are. Its getting harder and harder to get him to sit still...so much energy!



As a first time mom, I worry about a lot of things and I was worried when my little man did not like to eat solid foods...now he eats like a champ! Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans, Pears, Apples, Peaches, Squash, Carrots and LOVES bananas....think they are his favorite. He eats three meals a day and still nurses, but not as often which is nice for me.


Sawyer celebrated his first Easter in April, we were bad parents and didn't even get him an Easter basket (next year I promise) so we created our own Easter photo-op...

Cousins...

We had a visit with Jenny, Jordan, Megan and baby Finn a while back. Jordan wanted to hold both the boys. Hoping they will all be great friends as they grow up together.

Busy Baby... 7 Months Old

Our little baby boy is growing way too fast! Rolling all around, scooting and ALMOST crawling. Can it be true? Not ready for this yet! Everyday this kid gets happier and happier, we feel so lucky to have such a happy, sweet boy...Mike can't wait until he can run around outside with him.

Grandma Tina!

Grandma Tina came down from Alaska for a visit a couple weeks back. Sawyer loved spending time with her...I think the feeling was mutual!

Sawyer 6 months...

Can't believe our little man is already 6 months old! At his most recent checkup, he weighed 16 lbs. 4 ozs. and was 27 inches long. Hes becoming more and more vocal and starting to have a bit of stranger anxiety. We are working on naptime in his bed...not going very well but we keep trying. He has started eating solids, didn't like carrots, sweet potatoes were OK, but LOVES bananas! So in love with this little guy!

5 months and counting...

Sawyer is sure "down to be alive" as our friend Zac has said. Such a happy little man!

At his 4 month (5 months old) checkup he weighed 14 lbs and was 25 3/4 inches tall. Growing like a weed.

Still enjoying his swing and loves to roll around and play with toys and mom and dad:

Of course a baby's first year is full of new things here are some first in Sawyer's fifth month...

First taste of cereal...was not in love with it, but we keep trying...
